Cape Town Tamboerskloof Bed and Breakfast | Bed and Breakfast Accommodation in Tamboerskloof Cape Town at An African Villa

We are very pleased to have glowing recommendations from the pens of our past guests such as the following – a few recent comments on Tripadvisor:
"The best in Cape Town! I have been to Cape Town about half a dozen times and, after the second when I first stayed at this B&B, I will never stay at another. This very well might be my favourite place to stay in all of the 90+ countries I have lodged in and I don't say that lightly. This is my "perfect" accommodation experience.... "A Great Value: Our stay at An African Villa was a delight. The rooms are very comfortable and well-appointed. Our friends stayed at the Villa a couple of years ago and recommended that we contact them. We are so very glad we did! Every single member of the staff was friendly and the owners are hands-on and willing to help with every request…D Silvius" (Kansas 18, September 2012)

"WOW! I loved this place. The staff were incredibly hospitable and helpful. They booked car rentals, restaurants, etc, they showed us how to avoid bad weather, they cooked a wonderful breakfast, and they explained a lot about the city and country. I will go back and stay there because they are now our friends…. H Huang" (Singapore 05 August 2012)

"An African Gem! We stayed here on two occasions recently. We liked it so much we stayed there again toward the end of our trip and will definitely stay again on future visits to Cape Town. Frankly, a place has to be good for me to take the time to pen a review but the African Villa was certainly worth it… Ros Leamington" (Warwickshire, 29 July 2012)

"A Wonderful Place to Stay: We were a family of four and were given two very well appointed rooms next door to each other with our own landing. Breakfasts were delicious and the waiting staff were very attentive. We felt that An African Villa was a combination of all the best things about a number of hotels/B&S's we had stayed, there were so many well thought out touches!. It was an extremely comfortable place to stay and we have no hesitation in recommending it whole-heartedly!... T Torres" (Ipswich, 21 July 2012)

"A Jewel: Beautiful decor, relaxing atmosphere, outstanding breakfast, stellar hospitality. Rooms very comfortable; quiet and pleasant neighbourhood within walking distance of good restaurants. Owners are exceptional hosts. We stayed 5 nights; we felt both pampered and right at home. Would love to go back. We highly recommend this hotel… Jane Adriano" (Winnipeg, 21 June 2012)

"A Gem: We stayed 4 nights in one of the platinum rooms - our own veranda overlooking a quiet residential street. Our car was safely parked on the street when we weren't using it, and we were within walking distance of town. The hospitality, ambiance and attention to detail made it a delightful experience… Larry B" (Washington, 18 June 2012)

"An Excellent Hotel: I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to spend a bit of luxury time in Cape Town. The location is great - central enough to be close to the action, but not as busy as some of the places you could stay. The owners are fantastic, they work very hard to ensure a great stay, including offering port or sherry every evening, and sitting down with you on arrival to orient you to Cape Town, and the dos and don’ts of the city. If I go back, this is where I'll be staying…Patric S" (Toronto, 13 June 2012)

"Home away from home: We spent a total of 7 nights at An African Villa. It is everything we dreamed of, and more! It is situated in a quiet neighbourhood outside of Cape Town with easy access to excellent restaurants and various locations to the downtown waterfront. The owners and wait staff were excellent, and the accommodations superb. For something to remember An African Villa, we purchased three artistic ostrich eggs that now sit above our mantel in our living room. We highly recommend An African Villa…Gen and Marney"(Olympia, 13 June 2012)
